Cancelation Policy

Em C Education Online offers two payment options for educational experiences. 

Option 1 requires payment immediately upon the completion of each session for once a week sessions that are not discounted. 

Option 2 requires clients signed up for more than one session per week to pay the total invoice for all sessions by 11:59pm on the last session day.

For discount semester sessions, payment must be made in advance. After completing the first session in a package of discounted lessons, half of the total sessions must be paid in full within 24 hours of completing the first session. Failure to pay on time will result in paying the regular rate for all sessions.

Payment can be made through VENMO only, and parents/guardians are responsible for payments. A schedule of lessons will commence at the beginning of sessions. Special circumstances payment plans must be approved and discussed in advance.

Cancellation and refund policies state that failure to notify the educator of ending services after completion of work will result in being charged for the hours lost. Prepaid sessions can be canceled up to one hour before the scheduled time for family emergencies or sickness. Lessons not attended without 24-hour notice will be charged at the full rate. If the educator cancels a session, the student will receive a refund or can apply the payment to a future session.

Students canceling at the last minute more than twice with a legitimate emergency will require a non-private note from a medical professional. Failure to provide notice for cancelation will result in a full charge for the missed session.

Special circumstances, such as medical issues, must be discussed prior to sessions beginning. If a special circumstance arises, a professional letter/documentation will be required to evaluate and apply any changes to the cancellation policy.

Failure to pay the invoice by the deadline will result in added interest to the total amount due. The interest rate increases for each day the payment remains late. Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice for delays in payment and agree upon a rescheduled invoice due date. Discounts will be dropped until 16 sessions are paid on time and in full without any late fees.
